Our Occupational Therapy program offers:
- Sensory regulation, modulation and diet
- Self-help skill development
- Play and assistance to increase independence with self-feeding, dressing, bathing and chores.
- Fine motor and handwriting skill development.
- Social and Play skills

Sensory processing and integration problems affect motor skills, behavior, learning and a child's ability to process information and react to life.

Signs of sensory processing dysfunction include:
- Withdrawing from touch, avoiding certain textures, clothing or food.
- Difficulties with speech, overly sensitive to loud noises or problems following directions.
- Fear with ordinary movement, poor balance, clumsiness or weakness.
- Difficulty with motor coordination or with learning a new task.
- Poor problem solving or difficulty adapting to new situations.
- Limited social skills or difficulty playing with other children.

Treatment is generally done in the form of play as this is how children learn best. We will do an evaluation of each patient,

adult or child and do individualized treatment plans for each. Each session lasts 60 minutes.
